Coronary Disease Risk in Asymptomatic Patients with Left Ventricular Moderate Dilatation

چکیده
Goal of the Study is to assess risk coronary disease asymptomatic ischemia in patients with left ventricular moderate dilatation. Methods: The work was based on results investigation 185patients dilatation, aged 35-55 years from “Tbilisi Heart and Vascular Clinic” contingent. Among them, there are 159 men 26 women. Results: Patients who suffer dilatation don’t expose typical symptom possibly carrying damaged artery. LV ventricle can be used for primary diagnosing silent ischemia. Sensitivity - 0.867(95%CI:0.806-0.927); Specificity – 0.800(95%CI:0.703-0.897); Prognostic value positive results; 0.889(95%CI:0.832-0.946); negative 0.765(95%CI:0.664-0.866); diagnostic 0.843(95%CI:0.791-0.896). Conclusions: In ischemia, predictors are: male gender, dyslipidemia, arterial hypertension, smoking, treadmill test, ischemic 1st degree relatives, low tolerance test. Thus, we use test simple non-invasive. It characterized by high sensitivity specificity early prevention cardiac cases.

The Effect of Cardiac Rehabilitation on Left Ventricular Remodeling in Men and Women Patients with Coronary Artery Disease
Objective: Left ventricular (LV) remodeling is associated with increased morbidity and mortality therefore, interventions that halt or reverse ventricular remodeling are expected to prevent these clinical outcomes. The aim of the study was to assess the effects of cardiac rehabilitation program on cardiac remodeling process in patients with coronary artery disease and then compare the results b...
متن کاملeffect of elective percutaneous coronary intervention on left ventricular function in patients with coronary artery disease
coronary artery disease is one of the most common causes of mortality and morbidity across the world. its treatment includes medical treatment, coronary artery bypass graft (cabg) and percutaneous coronary intervention (pci). the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of pci on echocardiographic findings of left ventricular (lv) systolic and diastolic function. 115 patients with co...
متن کاملLeft Ventricular Dilatation Increases the Risk of Ventricular Arrhythmias in Patients With Reduced Systolic Function
BACKGROUND Reduced left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmias; however, LV ejection fraction has a low sensitivity to predict ventricular arrhythmias. LV dilatation and mass may be useful to further risk-stratify for ventricular arrhythmias. METHODS AND RESULTS Patients from the Genetic Risk of Assessment of Defibrillator Events (GRADE) study (N=930)...
متن کاملAssessment of left ventricular torsion in long axis view in patients with chronic stenosis of coronary arteries
Background: Left ventricular torsion is one of the most important biomechanical parameters of heart that routinely is measured in short axis view. A review of the literature has indicated that assessment of left ventricular torsion in short axis view has some limitations. In the present study, we evaluated whether torsion angle assessment in long axis view can be used as a diagnostic biomechan...
متن کاملSubclinical left ventricular dysfunction and coronary atherosclerosis in asymptomatic patients with type 2 diabetes.
AIMS The aim of the present study was to evaluate whether subclinical left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction is independently related to subclinical coronary atherosclerosis in type 2 diabetic patients and if it could provide incremental information over baseline characteristics to identify high-risk patients. METHODS AND RESULTS A total of 234 asymptomatic, type 2 diabetic patients witho...
